August wallpapers and public progress update (Patreon)

I was pressed for Ideas this month when it came to wallpapers, mostly because I was so engrossed in working on the main game. I settled with a very simple concept: Stella being cute. Ain't that nice?

It's been almost 2 months since I ended my post-release break and began working on Episode 2. I can't remember the exact date I began working on it, but I want to say it was about 7 weeks ago.

Progress is good, at this very moment, I am currently working on a stretch of animations. Yes, they're lewd. Anyone who was around since my demo knows that animations take me a loooong time. Not just because of the actual time spent building the animation, but the hardware time as well. Sometimes it will take me a whole day for one animation, simply because it took another 3 hours to render. And let's not even start on the encoding times.

Anyway, by the time I hit the 2-month mark, I'm fairly confident I will have surpassed the 500 render milestone. I probably won't be finished with this chapter, but it'll be close.

That's probably as much detail as I want to go into for now, especially in a public post.

I keep saying this, but yeah, Episode 2 is big. Bigger than episode 1 for sure. Or at least as far as the word count goes. I guess that means the bad news is that I'm nowhere near being able to speculate on a release date. Every time I tried doing that for episode 1, I was wrong. Hell, my first guess was off by over 2 months.

Keep looking forward to more fun times with the characters you (hopefully) love. There will be more opportunities for them to come out of their shells and for you to warm up to them. More world-building, mysteries, set-ups, and drama ensue as well. Keep on your toes.

P.S. I need to come up with a canon name for the MC. Yes, his current name is a copout placeholder, not an ego trip. I have a few in mind but I'm open to suggestions.
