My loyal Patrons. Thank you so much for your patience, loyalty, and continued support throughout this development cycle.

This process has been about learning my limits and optimizing my development process.

I've learned a few things over the course of making episode 1 regarding development speed. Many of them are life lessons to speed up my future processes. Including decreasing render density (i.e. removing frivolous renders such as a head tilt when it isn't entirely necessary), pacing myself throughout the day, and some things that can only be sped up by getting a better PC (Rendering/Encoding).

A long time ago I made a promise that I would release episode 1 before the end of March.

I'm breaking that promise.

Maybe I simply overestimated how quickly I could do this, maybe it's Jury Duty getting in the way. Who knows.

However, I was sickeningly close to keeping it. Writing is complete, and rendering/animating is extremely likely to be completed by the end of the month as well. The only thing left will be adding audio. Don't underestimate how long this takes. It will probably add another week before the release.

There are even more features I would like to add, a lore codex that will explain the lore (duh) and also help reduce exposition dumps (like the PC scene in the demo), a replay gallery, and a revamped, nicer-looking UI (including the choices screen).

So this brings me to the poll. You guys are paying for this project. And I want you guys to decide how and when you get the updates. So I have the two following options ahead of me:

Release the game once writing/rendering/audio have all been implemented. Adding the aforementioned features alongside the Episode 2 update

Or further delay the game to polish these features.

Remember that these features only need to be implemented once, so I won't need to implement replays and menus in future updates.

Regardless, these things need to be done. It's up to you when I do it.

Thank you guys so much for your support.

We're almost there.
