Lately I've been a bit unhappy about my linearts... I feel like I'm being a tryhard; I mean, trying to draw as best as I can and trying to fix every flaw in my pictures, or simply discarding pictures that I believe aren't good enough. During the holidays I had less time to draw, so I thought about it for a while. I'd like to give myself more breathing room, I'd like to draw more freely, to post pics with their flaws; I enjoy sketching, I enjoy it a lot, but drawing those extremely crisp linearts like I usually do drains my energy a lot, it takes me days to draw those clean linearts because I carefully draw every line, I like the results, and I'm pretty sure you enjoy them too, but I don't enjoy the process at all. On the latest Astolfo picture I tried to stop relying on vector layers for the lineart, I kinda felt more freedom, but some lines look of lesser quality, to make up for it I tried detailing the picture even more, I think I like how it turned out. so yeah... I want to draw more freely, ignore those tiny mistakes, just be a bit more messy with my lineart but enjoy the drawing experience.

Yeah i think anything you can do to make it FUN will automatically allow you to improve with time anyway, so dont you worry too much with the lineart if its a huge hassle
