Still very much working out the dialog on these pages. I've never been able to plan stories with the sort of rigorous structural approach that I feel as though other people use to structure things, but maybe that comes with more experience.

Lately I've been enjoying thinking of every element in the story, words, plot, images as a big composition I'm just kinda finessing into place the same way I would with a painting. It can be planned generally, but some parts of it are just unknowable until you're right there, directly comparing dialog with color and shape and the pictures that surround them.

I often find the more I learn about these processes the more they are all the same. Which makes me a little regretful of being so cautious about making comics for so long, for me experience really has been the best teacher.
