🖤 Happy Wednesday everyone! I think these got distinctly less Greek as I went on, but I had fun nevertheless :) Enjoy, and thank you as always for the excellent suggestions :)

Oh my god wait I just realized, if you’re on a kick of Greek styles and characters, you should do art of Hernaphroditus!!! 😱 It’s got so many of your staples! Sexy nature spirits, characters with bodies outside the gender binary, fantasy… it’s all there!

This was my destiny; to be here at this moment. I have passed the test. I will diminish, and go into the west.

A few things: first, I didn't know a gorgon could be so cuuuuute. Second, for whatever reason, intended or not, I see a Medusa that has turned her own dick to stone just so it would ALWAYS be hard.

Three things happening in June: Me doing an essay on Cixous, me considering getting a Medusa tattoo, this lovely, lovely smutty art 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Always researching, aren't you Sebbie? :) I don't know anything about Cixous, but a medusa is immediately something I can appreciate 💖

Cixous falls squarely in my field of interests because she is a writer. But, yes, she has this piece called “The Laugh of the Medusa” (which, technically, is a theoretico-poetic text about women’s writing) (and as most French literary theorists often are, it’s a very “sexy” text lol). But, anyways, that essay single-handedly inspire my desire to have a Medusa tattoo (I like snakes, and I already like Medusa, this connection just made it better). And I’ll prolly have the words “beautiful and laughing” (in reference to Cixous’ essay) somewhere there too. Also, Medusa’s just metal af :))
