Triple sketch page update! (Patreon)

I've been taking out my ipad some evenings to doodle as a way of decompressing from the somewhat monotonous freelance work while I get over this last work hump of the month.

I'm not super pleased with my output on the comic, but I do like some of these drawings, I think that I might take some of them and do the ol' put a circle behind it and add highlights treatment to polish it up 😅

I've attached a timelapse of the last page here that shows a bit more of how I've been drawing them. Sometimes doing these drawings feels like unearthing a drawing that's already there as I can visualize a lot of it ahead of time and then following a certain whim when it shows up, which is probably why I draw a lot of similar poses without meaning. Like the two girls laying back having sex with probably dildos (not a fan of the disembodied dick trope, but these are sketches so things stay a little rough) but I do love drawing that halo of hair spilling out around their heads.  

A lot of these are pretty hair focused now that I think about it. I can't put my finger on why exactly but there's something super fun about drawing hair with this brush, it might be the kind of bleedy quality to the line variation that makes long sweeping strokes or nests of curls really enjoyable and gratifying to put down. 🤔
