June Sketches + Timelapses [06/22] (Patreon)

06/22 I'm back drawing in Photoshop again to try to figure out what I need to do differently with my drawing brush in CSP to make it match better. I can't quite articulate why it just feels different, but my drawings just turn out a different way over there I can't quite explain.

Also during my trip to the art store the other day to pick up more fountain pen ink I saw they had all these old halftone and mezzotint acetate transfer sheets, so I bought a bunch of them so I can scan them and use them in future work. 

I know there's a mezzotint/halftone feature in PS and all of this stuff can be generated these adys, but I really love the organic quality of these sheets because there are irregularities and scuffs and scrapes. I jump through a lot of hoops to make my work feel less digital on a regular basis and I've learned from working with some very smart people in the past that sometimes you just gotta go to the source.

06/16 Updating with more timelapses. I pretty much can't draw anything in CSP without scribbling on the page a bunch lol. I keep trying to adjust the brushes every time I draw and it just slows me down from making anything 😣

06/15 Update -- Adding a little sketch of Valkyrie and the timelapse from a summery drawing I did today!

06/08 Update -- Adding more sketches and some photo studies :)
