Physical Comics Finally Up on Gumroad! (Patreon)
Content
Well it took long enough but I think it's done! I sorely underestimated all the weird little quirks it would take. I don't think gumroad necessarily is the ideal platform for selling physical merch but it's good enough for now! I'm including some extra photos that came of the whole process.

The comics are slightly different than the pdf versions because I have to make them end up at a round number of pages but not so many that I can't staple them together.
One unexpected nice thing was that the thank you pages I put in the pdfs made for some fairly nice, uniform back covers! I was initially going to print more than just these 4 but I think for now it'll make things easier on me to have fewer things being printed.
You all are so generous in supporting me, please do not feel compelled to buy them just because I put them on gumroad and am telling you about it, you already do so much! 😭 I Just wanted to post about it to show something of what I've been doing the past couple days.
Except for some weird print anomalies that I have to just accept happen with inkjet, I'm fairly pleased with them overall. I think the biggest thing is just using 32lb. paper, it feels a I'm glad to have some stickers and that Link x Zelda print to include as freebies because I want to make it feel a little more special, even if the quality isn't spectacular.
I put some of the stickers on my sketchbook as a test (next to that incredible C. Bedford sticker 😍) I had initially made one of my face and then I remembered...nobody wants a sticker of my face haha!
This part of the independent art racket is not my favorite, but it's necessary and I'm hoping in the future I can leverage some of my experience that I gain from it to help other artists and collaborators too.
For now I'm just grateful I can put my focus back on drawing comics again. Ivy & Pine have been calling to me!
