April Report! (Patreon)

Happy May, everyone! Thank you so much for supporting my work this month! How about that whole spring thing going on outside, huh? Blossoms everywhere.

Last month I put together this sfw recap format for the end of month report and I don't know if it's interesting for all y'all, but it was helpful for me to remember what even happened in the past 30 days. It's so often a blur.

 I hope you enjoyed the progress in Ivy & Pine. I didn't have another update before the end of the month of more pages :( but I was happy to at least make it to 10 pages of lineart.

Some unexpected fanart diptychs-- I didn't really intend to make these but they happened?? I've been curious for a while about doing some alternative format illustrations like VR illustrations or even something as simple as these double sided prints, which were just cute and fun challenge.

This 'pollen' pinup was just a kinda self indulgent exercise but I've been really curious about just drawing with colors rather than "paingint" per se. I also love getting to use those Deleter screentones I scanned a while back. They're a fun texture.

Finally, a new Velma pinup happened to celebrate the 55K milestone on twitter. A little bit arbitrary but I'm quite bad about celebrating things and I'm trying to do better. Thank you all for the support that you give here and on twitter. You're incredible generous <3

The shortcomings of this month was definitely the physical store stuff.😒 It keeps not happening for various reasons but it will be up by Wednesday 05/05. I kinda indulged in myself wanting to learn how to photograph products with a dslr I bought a while ago because I can't help myself. Dunno if I did a good job but I learned things and once I get them just color tweaked a little bit I'll write the gumroad description and have them ready to ship 😭

Next month I'm hoping for more pages of Ivy & Pine, that will definitely be my focus, and then I'm thinking once I get through inking all the roughs I have currently I'll put up a CYOA style vote on what happens next! :) I really enjoy the fact that you all helped decided who took the lead in Little Bird's Bath and I want to do something similar here, except maybe with a location change 🤔
