February Report (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone! I'm going to be sending out the dropbox links for this month's/last month's collected things and it will include the PDF for HEAT SEEKER!
I'll be posting a poll very soon!
Status update: I'll be totally honest, I really want to quit my part time job and give more of my time to doing this work every month and I want to try to fill the financial gap by slightly changing my tiers. I won't make any changes to the tiers without giving you all advance notice.
My vision for the patreon is to be able to keep making comics and illustrations, but also create new experiments and tutorials and I'd like to involve you all the in process. So let me hear what you want most out of the patreon.
Here's my thoughts (I'll give you all a lot of heads up:
The basic tier ($2) would get early access to my ongoing comic 'Space Express' plus get to vote on other projects but wouldn't get the other comics, which usually go for $5-$10 on gumroad.
The second tier ($5): All previous rewards, plus get any other comics I create, which I'll try to keep simpler and faster. Plus any sketches, hi res jpegs, psds, pdfs
The third tier ($10): All previous rewards, plus an educational focused content: suggesting/voting on tutorial topics which will ultimately be free online, more writing about my thought process/techniques and maybe process videos for illustrations, which is something I didn't have access to before.
Most of all I want your feedback on this stuff. I've kept my tier rates the same but the kind of work I've made has changed a lot so I would like to reflect that and reshape my goals for what I do with patreon. I'm going to be focused on making content that matches the value you're contributing.
My goals for the patreon would basically just mean that what I am able to make would get bigger and better with more patrons on all levels. More comics, more illustrations, more tutorials, etc.
Thank you all so much for your support and patience over the past couple months. I look forward to creating more with you all!
Cheers,
W.
