Howdy everyone, thank you for being patient with me! Life has been hectic, and because of that, I'm not nearly as far along with this update as I would like to be. BUT, the commissioner has enjoyed the results so far. So it's a straight shot to having this project finished! Until then, I'll elaborate a bit more on my process so far.

The commissioner is planning to use their 3D Printer to print this model out as a miniature! How exciting, right!? Look forward to all sorts of gushing and yelling about how awesome it is to see it printed in the future!

That being said, as this wasn't the workflow I anticipated, I had to retrofit what I knew into a new workflow. As I hoped to make the posing process as reproducible as possible. So that way, they could have a variety of poses to print in the future! This goes a bit beyond the initial offer of the sale, but the idea of having this beefy lad in physical form is quite attractive, I won't lie!

Uploaded, I added a turnaround of what I have so far, as well as some screengrabs of my process of building the base of the model. I started with a very traditional, hard-poly modeling workflow, in the hopes that rigging, and then posing, would be relatively seamless. Here's to hoping it doesn't end in disaster!

Check out the process shots from blender as I built the base out! As well as the high-quality MP4 of the turnaround!
