CoriusCon - Recap (Patreon)

In February, passionate hobby people from all over Germany, Denmark, France and the Czech Republic travelled to Berlin to be a part of the first ever CoriusCon.
Dices were rolled, containers were admired, miniatures painted and a lot of fun was had!

The event included a custom Necromunda campaign featuring custom scenarios and a narrative in which gangs had to entertain and gain Patrons over the time of four games. 14 players had to steal eggs from (very) deadly Dune Scuttlers, hunt down Murder Cyborgs or ambush Ridge Haulers in the Wastes on their way to become the most respected and feared gang in the Ashen Trials.
We also improved the contents of loot caskets, to make them way more valuable and giving underdog gangs the chance of rising from the ashes.

After 25 brutal games, several 30" falls from a way to high container stack, the statistics spoke for themselves:

Fighters gone OOA: 86
Memorable Deaths: 10
Loot Caskets collected: 52

OG of the Campaign: The Dunescuttler from the egg hunt scenario, killing several champions, leaders and countless fighters not getting taken OOA once.
Some say, he still roams the Wastes, to be hunted an other day.

There was a well epuipped real life trading post, where one could discover all kinds of bits  and pieces from mutated limbs and rare heads to guns and more guns for future gang projects and a frequently used painting space to paint minis in peace, while others got slaughtered on the battle fields...

After many hours in the Ash Wastes, it  was time to recover and regain full strength.
So Sunday afternoon, as the Ashen Trials had found there victorious few and honors and glory  were given, CoriusCon was completed by an Oil Paint Weathering Workshop held by yours truly - and attended by painters as brave and eager as the  gangs in the trials!

It's been an absolut blast spending two days surrounded by humble and kind people enjoying our great hobby together.
