Hi Gang,

Happy to present to you the latest finished tile for my Ash Wastes board and a quick tutorial on how I made the battle damage on the container.

I wanted to try and incorporate more destruction and dark vibes into the board since, by now, I think it feels too clean and not grim enough.
The idea behind this tile is a lone settler leaving the Hive City behind, trying to build a better life in the Ash Wastes (yes, he's an optimist) until he get's an unwanted visit from House Cawdor.

I will probably try and build a few more destroyed structures in the future since I fell in love with adding battle damage to stuff.
It's also nice to have the option of changing the mood of the board, depending on the scenario or the region the game is played in.
The container is magnatised, for more flexibility.

The hanging guy is build from various kits:

  • Upper body: Hive Scum
  • Head: Navy Breacher
  • Legs: Penitent Engine
  • Arms: Genestealer Neophyte
  • Hands: Blood Bowl Wood Elves

Hope you like it, if you have any questions: shoot!

Thanks for watching, and as always for our support!

Have a great weekend y'all.
Constantin

These are so good. What's the sizes of your tiles? Looking to start my board soon and thinking about modularity.

Thanks! They are the same size as the original ZM tiles, 12x12 inch
