When this episode first came out it made me so damn emotional bc of how much fromis had to go through to get to their first win. The absolue horrors of Idol School they had to endure, them being under 3 different companies in 4 years, going through a major scandal (in which they werent even at fault) still in their rookie days which led to them unfortunately gaining nasty K-Antis (that are still around today!) & to an over a year long hiatus. But honestly all that made this first win even sweeter, as Nagyung said. I always feel like this when it comes to groups that didnt debut popular. I think due to the massive international scale K-Pop has reached, we can quickly forget just how important domestic music show wins can be, especially if you look at a lot of newer groups that immediately go international with their debut. But to groups like fromis (DC or Oh My Girl are also good examples) music show wins are so detrimential and career changing. Btw, to anyone that hasn‘t seen the vid of fromis thanking flovers after the win, here is a quote from Saerom that will destroy you: „I never told you this, but I used to cry because the first place seemed so unattainable.“
