Dubu wasn’t wrong about the mountain picture lol. They did have one hanging in the room. They might have spent some time at each cable stop to help adjust. Altitude sickness in part depends on where you’re from and used to.

One thing I love about Switzerland, and it's why I keep going back there, is that the people themselves and whole infrastructure seem to integrate with the landscape and nature. They rather have slightly inconvenient roads than bulldozing through a mountainside. They rather pay a bit extra to get produce and dairy from natural sources, than get cheap mass-produced factory food.

What I found interesting when travelling there was how quiet it was in cities too -- they have a lot of laws policing noise pollution. They don't care about nightlife or gaudy displays of wealth (even though they have the money to do so). Just a lot of good infrastructure and parks and museums. Stuff everyone can enjoy. Surreal place.
