I agree that they're fun, but I think people who don't know SNSD well might not enjoy them as much as us long time sones since they won't understand the multiple references to their old music and variety shows and won't be able to play along with the games. I think SNSD on Game Caterers might be a better choice :) And even so, only after Kess and Han do the SNSD deep dive, of course

I second the Petitionista Taengoo recommendations. If you Google Petionista Taengoo, there's a WordPress page with Google Drive links to the subbed episodes. Taeyeon has been open about her long battle with depression, I can't imagine what was in those diary entries. As a longtime Sone, it's been nice to see her overcome her hardships.

Seconding that Kess and Han do it AFTER the deep dive. All the Forever 1 variety appearances are CHAOTIC. lol MMTG, Game Caterers, Nolto... They should probably all be viewed after having spent more time with SNSD via the deep dive. Hopefully by then they'll know the members better and really appreciate (lol) the unique madness of each member, and see how they've all both grown and, yet, are still very much the same girls :)))) It's going to be fun watching Kess and Han experience it

Prior to her "Weekend" comeback, the last time Taeyeon did music shows was for "Fine" in early 2017. Late-2017 to 2019 was a particularly tough, tragic time for Taeyeon. During those years, she still filmed enjoyable things like Petionista, Girls for Rest (the Oh!GG-SNSD subunit reality show in France), and Begin Again. With those shows, she got to travel and be more at ease. Whereas music shows can be grueling and tiresome. So during those difficult years, it's understandable that maybe Taeyeon just didn't bother with them. Then COVID happened (and yet another couple of tragedies for our Taengoo) and obviously there was no urgency for her to get back to music shows. But returning to music shows with "Weekend" ended up being just right. The timing was good as is the vibe of the song. Loving the weekly Taeyeon! Thank you, Kess and Han!
