This is my favorite episode and a very high point in the show. You know nothing about Veronica, but you know Sanchez very well, and he's such a sympathetic character that his grief cuts deep. First class writing and first class acting. Now the two leads know what their future may look like with one gone and one left behind. That was the whole purpose of this episode.

You're right, It was IU's real laugh in that dating scene. In the cast interview, they said that the line "i'll eat your earrings too" was not in the script. It was Chansung's ad-lib because her earrings look similar to the rice cake and IU actually laughed. It was supposed to be bloopers but the director thought it was cute so they actually kept it.
