Discord Troubleshooting (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Because I've had a handful of people with some issues/confusion surrounding discord, I wanted to give you all a few notes and hopefully helpful tips for if you should ever have issues with accessing the server!

- The server bot itself is the one that automatically updates your roles. But the bot does have a 'bandwidth' so to speak. It can get overloaded, which slows it down. So please note that sometimes it can be slow in updating your role. If it's being too slow for your liking, please reach out to me with your patreon username, and your discord name. As long as I can see that you've paid at the appropriate tier, I can bypass the process and get you your server role.

- Do not adjust your pledge, or try to re-pledge to get it to work. This will only result in you getting multiple charges to your account. If this occurs, please reach out to me so that I can refund you.

- If you think there's something wrong and want to fix it yourself, my biggest recommendation is to follow the instructions on this post. Unlinking and re-linking your discord account has worked for me in the past.

- If you're stuck, and don't know what to do, please reach out to me! I can absolutely bypass the issues and get you into the server, as long as I can verify that your payment has gone through as a patron at the appropriate tier. 

- I *strongly* encourage, that if you are going to reach out to me, reach out to me via telegram (@thatwolfguy). I use that for business, queries, commissions, and troubleshooting, and it's the quickest way to get in contact with me about work. 

[When reaching out, please send me the full context of your issue/question. Messages that only consist of 'hi' or 'how are you?' will likely be addressed last, while I'm assisting others]
