Sometimes, you just have to work things out an experiment. Not everyone starts off knowing what to do when painting. So it's ok to mess up and restart, as long as you can learn from your mistakes. 

In this timelapse I do warn you with a timestamp, but a good 10 minute section is a failed attempt with painting her skin.
