Terrible news, yesterday our external hard drive where we store all our files, photos and videos suddenly stopped working. At first I didn't think much of it because I supposed recovering the information wasn't that big of a deal, after all people buy these things to protect their info, right? Well, turns out you have to send it to an extremely specialized lab and the potential costs are in the thousands of dollars and could take weeks. WTF? Why didn't anyone warn me when I bought these things? Right now we're still in denial and we're going to exhaust all options before resorting to the lab. But this might take a while. Fortunately our NNG Christmas video footage is still on the SD card so we'll be able to deliver on that soon but this is extremely sad. The idea of loosing years of hard work is truly mind-blowing. I'll keep you guys updated.
