Hii everyone~

I was thinking of experimenting a bit and producing some vertical vids, they would be best for viewing on mobile. I'm just seeing if this is something that you'd be interested in?~

That would be amazing! Not only that, but I’d like it if viewing the videos was easier, anytime I wanna see one I have to click the link then to log in it takes me to safari, then I have to log in, click allow for the view public profile and stuff, and then I gotta hit that over 18 and I can finally see the video. I’m sure there’s a reason for it, but I feel like it would be a lot easier to just attach the file in the post or send a link to Google drive.

Hi, thanks for the feedback~ I have done some investigation into this as I can see why this might be kind of annoying. This apparently happens because when the browser is closed it ends the session, meaning that you will have to re-login, and yeh again I get why that would worsen your user experience. Me and Trunky (the web-admin) have done some research, we did find a possible solution, but we have contacted the developer of the patreon website integration to verify that this would be a valid solution that would solve/improve this issue. In the meantime, I have decided to include the alternative link (which currently is only on the latest vid, but will be added to all previous video posts soon) which does not use direct patreon integration, but instead uses a password which you can get by following the instructions in the pinned post. The password does change every so often so be on the lookout. This should be easier and quicker overall though compared to the patreon unlocking. The reason that I do not use google drive or some other kind of cloud storage etc is firstly because they often have rate limiting which forces users to download the entire video (each video is usually between 2-4GB). It would also be harder to browse through content which would worsen user experience. My intention with the website is to make the experience more like that of a tube site instead of needing to awkwardly sift through posts. It also gives me much better protection against piracy, as links can easily be shared or saved, whereas with the website the authentication/password system ensures that only legitimate subscribers get to see the content, this respects paying subscribers as well as myself. Piracy would also cost me a lot, as they would be using bandwidth (which costs money) whilst I would get nothing in return, as well as losing potential subscribers.
