Hii everyone this is justt and update post 😊  it's mainly about the last video, some challenges I've been facing and how I've fixed them.


It is quite long, so the summary is just a short version

tldr:

- I'm learning new techniques for improved animation and production speed.
- The latest video took longer to make than expected, but I'm working on improving production speed and quality.
- The cumming scenes will be better in the future. Am looking into ways to improve them
- I faced setbacks with a faulty CPU and system crashes.
- I'm adding more RAM to avoid memory issues, which were slowing me down.
- I'm installing more GPUs to improve render times
- Working on some other things right now, but next video will start production soon

The long version:

Firstly, I want to apologize for the delay in uploading the latest video. Initially, I planned for it to be a quick project, but it turned out to be incredibly more tedious than I imagined, resulting in a longer production time. I want to assure you that I'm doing everything I can to find ways to speed up production in the future. I truly appreciate your patience and support, and I don't want to let you down.

Despite the difficulties, I've learned a lot during this process. This newfound knowledge will greatly enhance the quality and efficiency of my future videos. Specifically, I've learnt new techniques such as simulating soft body physics (for realistic jiggle and interaction), bone physics (in Blender, for natural movement of dangly parts, like bun ears etc), and IK constraints (to help automate certain animations)... As well as some other things that I'm probably forgetting.

Currently, my main focus is improving the cumming scenes. I'm actively exploring better solutions to make them more visually appealing. To achieve this, I'm considering using standalone fluid simulation software, as Blender doesn't fully utilize my hardware capabilities. I want to create scenes that are not only satisfying but also simulated at higher resolutions. Although the latest cumming scene fell short of my expectations due to time constraints, rest assured that I'm determined to enhance this aspect in future videos.

Unfortunately, I've encountered a few setbacks recently that have further slowed down production. One significant issue was with a CPU I purchased. Despite my excitement about its potential to improve performance, and to allow me to expand my hardware much more (in the future), it turned out to be faulty. I invested a lot of time, effort, and money into troubleshooting the problem, but ultimately had to return it. It was a frustrating experience, and I incurred a lot of additional expenses due to currency conversion, shipping, and handling fees, it was disheartening to say the least.

Another challenge I encountered was running out of memory while rendering. To address this, I have recently purchased additional RAM, which will significantly improve my system's ability to handle these scenes.

Despite these obstacles, I want to emphasize some good news. Going forward, I have a plan to overcome these challenges and ensure better outcomes:

  1. Memory limitations: I have upgraded my RAM, which will prevent memory shortages during rendering and enhance overall performance.
  2. Render times and graphical limitations: I have purchased another GPU and when I can afford it, I will purchase another to max out my system, this will result in render times being ~halved.
  3. Improving cumming scenes: I will simulate at higher resolutions and prioritize working on these scenes earlier in the production process, allowing time for re-simulation if needed. Additionally, I'm committed to learning standalone fluid simulation software to achieve more visually appealing results.
  4. Animation improvements: I'm excited to utilize techniques such as soft body physics for realistic jiggle and volume interactions, bone physics for natural movements, and IK constraints to save time and improve the quality of animations.

Moving forward, I'm determined to keep you updated with regular work-in-progress posts. These updates will not only cover what I've been working on but also include behind-the-scenes glimpses, test renders, animation previews, audio clips, and more. Additionally, I will continue to explore new techniques and research during the production process to discover better ways of creating content.

For the last few days (since I release the video) I have been ill, but am back in action now 😊
I'm currently working on some commissions, art, the trailers for the latest vid and a few other things. I'm going to start working on the next animation immediately after these tasks are complete.
