It’s late at night, Gordon picks up the phone and calls Cameron’s house, the mutiny HQ

HALEY: When’s mommy coming home?

GORDON: That’s just what daddy’s calling to find out, Haley.

Cameron picks up at Mutiny.

CAMERON: Mutiny, this is Cameron.

GORDON: Cameron, it’s Gordon, is Donna there?

CAMERON: Yeah sure, just a-hey Donna! It’s Gordon.

DONNA: Great! Hey Gordon.

GORDON: How’s your day been? You gonna be home soon?

DONNA: Well that depends upon when you’re getting here with my car, Gordon.

GORDON: Was I supposed to do something?

DONNA: Gordon, my car was in for a service today, you were going to catch a taxi to the garage and drive it to pick me up.

GORDON: Ah crap, I’m sorry Donna, it’s the...tank, you know? Look I’ll be by soon.

JOANIE: I’m hungry.

GORDON: In a minute sweetie.

HALEY: Me too.

DONNA: Gordon, have you not fed the girls yet?

GORDON: No, I was...I thought you were doing it-

DONNA: Gordon, it’s 8 o’clock on a school night! I’m at work!

GORDON: Okay so I’ll fix them something then I’ll be by the garage to get your car to pick you up!

DONNA: Gordon, it’s 8 o’clock, the garage would be shut now. It’s fine, just feed the girls, and I’ll get a lift home.

GORDON: So you sure about that?

DONNA: Yes, yes...thank you.

GORDON: Okay, I’m sorry.

DONNA: I’ll be home soon.

GORDON: I’ll see you then.

DONNA: Tell the girls I love-

Gordon hangs up and turns to the girls.

GORDON: Okay, who wants to cook dinner?

JOANIE: Are we going to dig another hole again?

GORDON: ....How about we order a pizza.

Back at Mutiny, Donna hangs up, crestfallen.

CAMERON: I can give you a ride home, it’s easy.

DONNA: Thank you..

CAMERON: You want a drink first?
