So in the past I’ve tried to have artworks released that tie in to relevant dates or holidays. Best example so far has been my 12 days of Doctor Who Christmas a few years ago, where I released drawings relevant to each of the previous Doctor Who Christmas specials in the days leading up to 12’s finale and 13’s arrival. That was a success. less successful have been the Halloween tie-ins and the Friday the 13th ones. I don’t know, something about the spirit of the day would make those pictures more relevant.

However, busy schedules this year really made me drop the ball, on both a Laurie Strode piece and a sequel to The Worst Witch’s Ethel Hallow piece from last year, and Friday the 13th came and went without Jason or the ladies making an appearance. Tomorrow is November 23rd, it’ll be 57 years since Doctor Who debuted and it’s the perfect time for a new picture.

So I have a few questions. Are these events relevant only to their dates? Do you want a Doctor Who piece for tomorrow? What other celebratory pictures would you like to see, relevant to films, shows, games, or holidays? Let me know below.

Yes, I would love a Doctor Who piece! While this isn't a milestone anniversary, it should still be celebrated!

A doctor who piece would be awesome!

Seconded, always room for more Who art. Inspired by holidays or anniversaries makes for a good starting point but shouldn't be too rigid. What something loosely themed around on this day using your original characters? Then you don't have to feel under deadline pressure with all your announced projects.

I do love your Clara stuff. More of that would be appreciated

I feel that if you are inspired to draw something for Doctor Who, you should. But if you feel obligated or something and don't really feel like drawing something, then maybe you should find something else to draw.
