Sketches from University (Patreon)

Some sketches from my university sketchbook, from this year and last year.

A lot of the scribbles in the book are just that, lots of blind contour sketches, when you don’t look at the page and only the object you’re drawing, and a lot of material sketches. Mostly used charcoal and 4B pencils for these, from portraits to life drawings. The other better sketches are kept at uni, and those are on A1 sized paper. I do have another sketchbook at university I could try fetching in future. All these and many more helped me improve my likenesses, especially in the last year.
