And Cass loves it.

I saw The Fisher King film. I enjoyed Robin Williams but I spent the whole film waiting for Peter Capaldi to show up. That is a joke.

Cass, for those who don't know/remember, was the deaf crew member of the future underwater base in Under the Lake/Before the Flood. She was pretty cool, and looking for ideas, a friend, who loves her and those episodes, suggested Cass and maybe a ghost. I planned this for a long while, looking for the right images of someone being bonked up against some glass, which you can find here, but only decided last week that I'd draw the Fisher King because a ghost is...well, a ghost. Although this is based off a scenario that never happens in the episodes, but I imagined it would.

I then got thinking though, what is the end game for this scenario? Do they get married? Does the Fisher King awkwardly shuffle off and never call Cass back? The idea of monster/alien banging is fun and all but once everyone is finished, where does it go from there. What do you think about that and the picture? This was so fun to colour, all those textures on the Fisher King and the ghostly reflection, from outside the base looking in.

Another outstanding piece. You have captured her likeness superbly. The use of the glass is inspired and I hope you use it again sometime in the future (maybe with Clara). As for the future of Cass and the Fisher King i can imagine once the endorphin rush dies down the awkwardness of a drunken one night stand hits them .The Fisher King knows that he will never get anyone as hot as Cass again and is trying to play it cool. For Cass it was the best sex she's ever had so she then smiles contentedly. Sadly the Fisher King misreads this as a mocking gesture as he only lasted an hour before climaxing which in Fisher King terms is akin to premature ejaculation. Feeling rejected he shuffles off miserably never knowing that by doing so he was breaking Cass' heart in the process. It's a tale of woe to rival Romeo and Juliet (well, maybe not).
