That’s right, July is the month to celebrate the 1960s, that eventful decade so jam-packed with important things, and so long ago that my parents weren’t even born yet!

These next four weeks will feature up to six new artworks from pop culture from within the years of 1960 to 1973 (truthfully the 60s as we know them today didn’t really begin until 1963 and end until 1973). You lucky patrons can take part too, with special priority given to those requests featuring something from that decade. I should also go on to say too that this theme month will only include things made and released within those years, and not based then, so no Mad Men, X-Men: First Class or Austin Powers.

RULES

•Requests open July 3rd

•Must be from something from 1960-70, doesn’t have to be set then

•CAN feature cartoon characters of the era

•CAN feature comic characters from the era. Both will be drawn to match the style and methods

•Patrons who joined in June can request a scenario with one featured character, and a less detailed second character. Existing patrons get one character.

•$1 patrons black and white lines, $5 patrons basic colours.

•No violence, gore, underage, vore, scat, racism, or other objectionable content.

Patrons who have already submitted their requests were received and are on the roster to be drawn.
