Had to make a leather jacket for Joen. It turned out awesome, but I don't think I'll voluntarily work with leather (faux) ever again. I sourced my fabric from a lovely leather jacket I thrifted many months ago for this project. The jacket was fully washed, and I had enough fabric for the pony size jacket from just the sleeves. 

Patterning went super fast, but it took ALL day to sew. Much longer than expected. My machine hated sewing this stuff, and I broke more than a few needles. Hand sewing was also done entirely w/ pliers, so took a super long time. I do think it was worth it, the texture and look of the realistic leather really sets this plush off.

Seriously? Aw man I love working with leather /leatherette. The end result was so worth it, his jacket looks great!

Wow! 😂 I've always wondered how y'all manage to make clothes/jackets for quad plushies. Been looking for a tutorial for that lol!
