Think this guy is almost done and ready to cast! Man,, the last version I posted was UGLY. I mean, it's amazing how your perspective changes when you don't look at something for 24 hrs haha. Most of the issues were in the lack of forehead bulk, but I'm pretty sure this is 99% there now.

Working on symmetry is a pain in the behind. Not something I'm used to having to think about, but a good learning exercise. I'm sure this guy isn't spot on, but I'd like to think I've done ok with it.

Putting the textures on the muzzle was good fun. I spent awhile playing the game  to see what they looked like up close. Most of the texturing was done with a course sponge, and tools pressed through cling wrap. I'll post up the tutorial I used later on.

I'll likely sculpt his leg master-copy tomorrow. Will only be sculpting 1 and casting 4. Hopefully it wont take very long, since it's nowhere near as complex as his head.

Glad that this has come out as a relatively unique looking sculpt. With the amount of Trico dolls out already, I was worried mine might look too much like someone elses.

Wow so you are casting his whole head? I figured you would have just used the clay, is it so you can use it to make another later if needed? Or something else? He turned out great btw! I can't wait for his feet.

Casting it so it can be hollow and lightweight. The clay is suuuuper heavy (and this stuff I am using doesn't dry/you can't bake it). Also, I can make multiple casts if I mess up in the painting/furring
