Retry (Patreon)

I really wasn't happy with how the patterning looked on the eagle yesterday. I decided that I'd really regret it if I didn't fix it before proceeding, so I redid the padding on the lower jaw so that the head could sit at a better angle, and redid the tape job.

Really happy I did, since I got the pattern in so many less pieces than the first attempt. Muuuuch easier. Got some of the sewing done, did it by hand as I'm hesitant to sew such massively bulky fur by machine. Not sure if I should finish my seams with my overlocker? Idk if it'd be too much for it to munch through. 

Unfortunately my tongues didn't set up perfectly. I'm going to have to buy proper silicone pigments ($20 a piece urghghg). I want to use silicone for Trico's ears, so I'll have to bite the bullet -_-. Unfortunately the tiny amount of acrylic paint inhibited curing. Tried a chunk of silicone without the paint and it dried perfectly in 30 mins.
