So ignore the eyes for a minute while I talk about the rest of the pattern :p.

After yesterdays disaster, I got a 99% perfect result today :D. So relieved, I was really feeling battered down with this pattern. Seems like the best results always come after my worst (I guess the most extreme changes?).

I changed the way the chin and neck come together, giving a more accurate joint to the base of the neck. I also changed the eyebrows a bit. They look that poofy with no thread sculpting! I'm thrilled with em. Getting those big brows was one of my must-haves for this pattern.

Pretty much everything is lining up to my refs. I do need to widen the base of the nose from the front, but that is super easy and not a hassle.

The last remaining problem is his eyes. It's blatant that they aren't right atm. I did a little photoshop work in the bottom right pic, but I think I'm going to have to actually pin paper to the pattern test to give a better idea of the 3d embroidery.

Unfortunately Spyro has super bulging, 3d eyes in the game, so I cannot make the shape match the front and profile refs perfectly, since it is flat embroidery, not a sphere embedded in the head. I'll try to find a compromise.

If anyone would like to give me a redline on the shape of the eyes or do any photoshop work w/ eyes that'd be wicked! It's the last struggle I have to make till I can complete the head.
