The upper leg padding I did last week was a flop, so started from scratch again today. This time sculpting on a maquette I 3D printed ages ago.

This lil human 3D model was created using my body measurements. I can’t remember the website that generated it but I do remember it was free. I think it’s called ‘make human’. Makes sculpting to suit my proportions easier.

Sculpted until the maquette matched my ref. Taped her up and extracted the patterns. I then worked out how much to increase the pattern size by by measuring the maquette and my own height and doing some basic algebra.

These patterns were printed out and traced on 1” foam, then glued into their final shapes
