Taro sculpt (Patreon)

Hey guys! Going to slowly start to trickle Taro WIPs here. Have a lot of stuff started.

Here is the head sculpt for her. I've printed just the base head shape (no beak or eyes) to create the head out of 1" thick foam. Once I've finalised all her proportions I'll 3d print her beak and eyes. The beak will be covered in fleece, I would rather not deal with a painted beak that can chip (also no sanding yay). 

Eyes will be printed and painted. I'll also be creating a clear plastic eye cover that goes over the entire thing (with  the iris and pupil recessed from it). Clear plastic will also go over the pupil hole to allow vision through there (primary vision is through the beak). 

Haven't got her eyelids in the digital sculpt. I'll probably be sewing those out of minky or stretch velvet and sewing them in shape by hand.
