Finished the very last little touches on Crash today. Had to build the sock and fur covers for his 'legs'. The fur section needed to be able to separate from the sock section since the joints need to be accessed to glue together.

I made a leg core out of simple pool noodle. That stuff is super handy. So easy to cut and play with. It turned out to be the exact diameter needed for the leg, lucky!

I hollowed out the core to slide snugly over the PVC that comes out from the shoe. Covered it in white fleece so that no purple would show through, cut, hemmed and slid the socks over the top. Worked out really well!

The fur portion was made similarly to cover the top portion of the leg. Just a fur stocking that slides over.

Bf and I are working on the last thing for him this weekend. Improving where he connects at the pants/lower waist. Just need to solidify it a bit more, he's a heavy boy despite being made of foam. I blame that front heavy design haha. Lucky his shoes are super long to counteract the front leaning weight.

We should have that done this weekend, photos taken Tuesday and hopefully posted Thursday. Cross fingers

Man I cant wait to see this when put together. He's gonna look stunning Naz! Was this for a private client, or has it been commissioned by the creators? It looks like it would be an amazing promotional prop haha

He was a private commission. I have made molds of everything in case the original creators want to commission one though hehe
