Gussetless pony pattern (Patreon)

So patreon has been down 'for maintenance' for the last cpl of days for me. I finally finished my new mare pattern that I've been working on. Took me 6 fully sewn body tests to get this far. 

I had the idea in my head for a few days that it'd be super cool to make a pony pattern with no gusset. They take so long to sew and the seam lines they leave are pretty in your face. I had no idea if it could be done but I wanted to try. 

I ended up hybridising the gusset and the side/torso piece. I need to add 4 darts to ensure it stays round, but otherwise there is no gusset at all! Just a seam that runs in the center of the neck and belly attaching the 2 sides. I really like how clean it looks and not having to sew a gusset is awesome. Love how this pattern has come out. 

Just need to restuff her, I didn't do the best job rushing this late last night to try and see if my pattern had worked.
