Took me all day, but I got all of his parts sewn together. All those little parts on his face, shoulder frills, head spikes, etc etc. Was really time consuming, but he's all assembled apart from his wings. 

Now to start masking every part of him that is not orange for airbrushing. I have to mask his belly, every spike, each toe, his eyes and every single darn embroidered red marking on his body (RIP). Then I can get started on airbrushing, I hope it really makes him pop.

I'm assuming there's a reason you don't airbrush before attaching things like the spikes/claws - but having never touched an airbrush, I can't think of it! XD Why not?

Sewing into already airbrushed parts will ruin the finish. It breaks apart the smooth painted surface and scratches it up
