Wing wip 1 (Patreon)

Got to work on the wings today. The print for this was the only part that came out correctly in my last spoonflower order. 

I sewed the wing base (the printed section) together and ironed it, then proceeded to pattern the wing spines. 

It took a really long time to cut and sew them all together. The spines are double sided, so  4 spines and 1 top/long base piece for each wing. Each spine has 3 pieces. It took me a couple of hours to sew the base then the entire rest of the day to sew the spines together. 

Tomorrow I'll stuff and attach them, then hopefully start on the airbrushing the red.
