Got a lot done today. Finished sewing his feet which was a big pain. Each foot has 18 pieces to it, so so many fiddly parts. After that was done I stuffed him to see how he was coming together. 

I'll need to unstuff him and sew all his spines into his back seam once the fabric arrives. But before I can make the files for that, I need to see how the spines look against his sewn body, to get the scale and placement right. 

Really thrilled with how well he matches the ref. I'm going to be making his head more like his concept art. I spent a few hours thisafternoon sculpting the head (or starting to) to do a study of it. It's going to be a pretty complicated pattern, but hoping I can modify my existing Spyro/3d mouth pattern to suit this guy and not start from scratch. 

He looks too pale an orange atm, but that will be changed when he is all put together and I do his final airbrushing. It's best to start with the palest colour and work in the darker tones from there.
