Cadence wip (Patreon)

Man, these pictures really don't do her justice at all, I'm going to have to work out how to show her off properly. 

I was a bit stressed today since it was crunch time with the printed minky. If I made a mistake I don't have time to reorder fabric before the con so it would have been really crummy. 

I'm really happy with how she's turned out so far, but I'll come out and say I'm not a huge fan of the printed minky. It's so tricky to work with compared to the regular stuff, and it pinches super easily. I had to resew parts of the mane a second time since even with thorough/dense pinning, it wanted to bunch on itself and cause puckers on the seams. 

I also had to do a toooone of airbrushing over the darker parts of her mane and tail, the seams were not a big issue but anywhere where the dark minky distorts it shows a lot of white (that can't be fixed with brushing). In the end it was probably easier than dyeing each colour, but I wont be using it again unless really necessary. 

I just have to make the patches for her crown and necklace, and she'll be pretty much done. The only thing I can't finish on her is her wings, that I am doing the 2nd layer on like I did Luna. The fabric for that is coming in the mail with the second batch of fabric for Tia. It should be here in a couple of days.
