How to send out rewards (help) (Patreon)

So Patreon has got me all kinds of confused atm. It used to just take everyone's payments at the end of the month. After I enabled the 'pay upfront' feature for new patrons (to avoid theft/scammers) it is taking their pay upfront, but also charging at the start of the new month (makes no sense). 

Those who make new pledges and who are charged upfront are welcome to edit their pledge after that $ is taken, but now I'm left in a pickle. The patreon system is placing pledges into previous months where I can't see them (can't tell who is new) and it's making it really hard to keep track and send rewards out. 

For eg, if someone paid today, their name would be placed in the September list instead of the October list (which is where all my pre existing, pay at the end of the month patrons would be listed). 

Should brand new patrons who pay upfront just immediately be send all previous videos? And then get the new ones for the month the month ticks over? I'm so confused by this new system and am not sure what to do. Any suggestions are welcome.
