Completely redid the body from scratch today. As you can see in the top left pic, the cutiemark was a little off on the first version, and it just wasn't acceptable in my eyes. All other pics are the new bod. Kicking myself for doing it that way, but I don't often work with this pattern.

On my standard mares, I need to rotate the cutiemarks so that they will come out vertical on the final plush, turns out that is not the case with this pattern.

The embroidery was pretty fast, since I already had the files done. Each took about 30 mins since they are quite large.

Got her all sewn before lunchtime, and was able to stuff her much faster as I already had all the armature, foam etc prepared. Got her complete by 5pm. I'm very happy with the result, the cutiemark is in a good spot and her body came out a lot more balanced than the first.

Tomorrow I'll probably make her wings and see where I go from there. I can't make much else (other than her head) until the minky for her mane/tail/regalia arrives. I accidentally ordered the wrong red, and had to reorder a different one. Hopefully it comes by the weekend.

What do you use the foam for here?

Stuffing in the tiny joints. It's denser and holds it's shape better. I usually just use foam scraps and dice them up to use as stuffing
