I'm glad that the previous horns turned out too small, since it pushed me to really fix the issues they had. The resin had lost almost all of it's light reflective qualities and had turned quite dull. Time to fix that. 

I repoured a few sets of horns last night, and picked the colour I liked best. They appear very blue on my screen, but are more teal irl. 

The horns were trimmed down and textured with my dremel, except I left them chunkier than last time. I then wrapped the lower portions in apoxie sculpt, making sure NOT to put that on the bottom of the horn (I did this last time and it blocked the light from reflecting back into the horn). 

This time, I glued the shiny side of alfoil to the bottom of the horn. This reflects any light that hits it back up into the horn, lighting it up. You can see the difference in the untrimmed horns in the top image.

Wow so much better! What do you think made the resin turn dull like that? So weird
