There are some moments when I seriously question my sanity. The many branches during SL's endgame and the corresponding variant renders come to mind...

So for Episode 11 of Tales From The Unending Void I had a bright idea for an orgy. The orgy with the R'o has been pointed out by some as an early highlight in the game, so I thought a repeat was in order (this time with some muscular women).

However, in Episode 10 you could align yourself with either two factions, or remain neutral. Therefore, the orgy has to take into account your choice of faction, because having a group sex with newly-made enemies is simply no fun and mortally dangerous. Also, to complicate matters further, I decided it would be fun to include another optional (!) penis in the group, to allow for some DP action.

Thanks to all those wonderful decisions above, I had to create three variants of each image leading up to the actual orgy (until everyone is naked) and two versions of the scene with the optional extra penis included. As DAZ3D, the software I use to create the imagery, is one of the most poorly optimized dumpster fires ever created, loading and saving scenes with more than three characters takes forever.

An orgy with three people is just a ménage à trois with an identity crisis, so for the past two weeks I've patiently plowed through those renders. I have a couple of variant images remaining, but the end is in sight. With the render count at nearly 400, I still need to do a few action and dialogue renders and wait for the first animation files to trickle in.

For now it's back to DAZ testing my patience.

I can't say I'm hyped towards this scene (solely by reading the description, who knows maybe I will end up liking it anyway), but I'm a little concerned about how the complexity of the story is constantly increasing (and therefore, the amount of work each scene needs). I know you already got some experience right from the development of SL so I'm pretty sure you know what you're doing, but if you want to hear my opinion, try to not going too overboard with it, this game's too good to be left abandoned due to eventual burnouts or too long development times needed for each episode.

Not to worry! It's not my first rodeo, as you already mentioned and I'm always careful not to overwork myself. The increased complexity becomes somewhat of a fact with these branching narratives, but I think it will ultimately result in more rewarding gameplay and replayability.
