Development Update #72 (Patreon)

Just came back from my holiday and I'm starting up work on Episode 10 again. Apart from some sightseeing I did quite a lot of reading and wrote parts of Episode 11 already while on vacation.

Now it's back to the renders. Alorth delivered all of the animations in my absence, I just need to render them. There's a bit of a snag though, as my main GPU died just before I went on holiday. The 2080ti seems to be broken (faulty memory, perhaps). The GPU is still under warranty, but dealing with support is going to take too long. The new PC build I detailed before is taking longer than expected, still waiting on some parts to arrive. So those dual 3090 are pretty useless in their waterblocks right now.

Rendering on my single Titan Xp is incredibly slow and because I need to render all those animations, I ordered a third 3090 which is going to replace the 2080ti. I was hoping the GPU would arrive as soon as I got back from my holiday, but of course fortune had to go and fart in my face. Hope it will arrive early next week so I can finish up the remaining renders.
