All apps have been updated!

They each now have a user variable: "allowLowerCspVersions." If you set this to true, you can use the apps on versions below CSP 0.2.3 down to CSP 0.2.0 if needed.

New app versions are:

  • FIA DRS v1.6

  • Blue Flag v1.4

  • Mechanical Failures v1.6

  • Clear Stopped AI v1.9

  • Rolling Start v1.8

  • AI Pit Stop Strategy v2.8

hey nuzzi my AI when it goes to the pit via the app some enter and leave others withdraw from the race how do I fix this? especially in the RSS GT3 when I set the pit to be 20sec

Hi, I would check the Lua debug app to see if there is any logging to give more info on what is happening. If you are using the clear stopped AI app, I would check the logging for that too. Some mod tracks don't have pit-lanes properly implemented and that can make the clear stopped AI app think a car is stuck when actually it is doing a pitstop.

I have the problem that some AI drives enter to the pits twice (even when I configured just one stop) They enter in the lap that I configured and in the next lap enter to the pit again. I used csp 0.20 and 0.21 but in the two version I have the same problem (even when I configured 0.21 and 0.22). Another problem is that AI after their pit stop they retired of the race, that thinks happened all the time and it'd get very frustrating. In this new update apps that bugs will be fixed ? What kind of solution has it? I'm new in assetto Corsa and I'm playing a championship offline in indycar 99.

Hi dude, i already done my AC with CSP 0.2.3 and the game still doing the same think :( all the AI drivers came to the pits again and again and again and its no fun playing like this. Another Bug is in the rolling app, some cars not start de race and the others drivers dont have the speed to do the rolling lap. What can i do ? its quite frustrating and is not fun playing in that way, im consider to quit of this game and find another sim racer game. Its a shame because all the graphics of this game are amazing but im not enjoyng all these bugs. Please Help me. Thanks a lot

Hey Nuzzi, wanted to let you know that while the Pit Stop Strategy App 2.8 is working great, it is also activating in all online events - whether it's a race or not. This means that it's editing the surface ini of the track even when doing online/league races - so the next time I try to enter the server, I get a checksum failure. I think the app is supposed to activate in single player only, as that was how it was in earlier versions. Likely a squashable bug. I'm on latest CSP 0.2.4p1.

Hi, yeah, the app itself will disable when you go into online races. However, you need to press the Disable Track Physics button when in a single player session on the track first before going online. Thanks :)

Unfortunately, this behavior is happening on tracks that I've never driven on before with the Pit Strategy App installed. For example, last week, we ran Ascari Race Resort in my league - which I had last driven prior to installing any version of your app. Upon loading for the first time (which was into an online practice session), I got the "pit app has been activated and requires a restart" message in the bottom left hand corner - even though this was a practice session and not even a race, as is the requirement in SP. When leaving that practice server and rejoining an hour later, I got a checksum error and was kicked from the server. Only reinstalling the track fixed it - it is certainly the app that is changing the surface ini when entering this online session. It's happened in exactly this same way with 4 different tracks since. I've learned that I can leave the online session, go into Single Player, load up a quick race, and lo and behold, if I go to car setup pre-race, the pit app has been activated and the AI strategy menu options all show - even though I've never ran the track with the app in offline before. It is certainly activating upon entering online races and sessions for me. I can take pictures to confirm if you need them. Thanks.

Hey, I have a small question regarding the Pit Stop Strat app - is it possible for you to add a variant for older cars, that according to "their" regulations could only use two compounds in a race and not three? What I'm talking about is: right now, the app gives AI the choice between softer or harder compound than the one set as default (from what I read in the code), per current F1 regulations. It's kinda... not great, when racing in IndyCar or pre-slicks F1 (2007 for example), you have to deviate from historical accuracy.

so I upgraded to csp 2.4.preview 1 and it's better but... still some cars are stuck on the grids. Also Mechanical failure sometimes works, sometimes don't. Also It would be andy to get acces to the settings in the qualifying setup, not only in the race setup. Overal your apps are interesting but I suspect that for me, they don't deliver their full potential :)

Unfortunately, the Blue flag app doesn't work at times. Even when the vehicle maneuvers are shown in the lua debug, the throttle limit doesn't change. Sometimes, however, no maneuvers are shown in the debug. I don't get any error messages. Since the problem isn't really reproducible, I can hardly use the app. The problem affects 1.3 and 1.4.

Hi, I've bought the AI Pitstop ad but in game the report is I should 'enable track/or setup track physics'. I can't find that option anywhere on Content Manager. I've also checked the ini in the app, but that seems just fine. Anyone got an idea?

Hi, id love to be able to enforce ai fully retiring or rejoining but assetto corsa has been very temperamental when i have tried to add that unfortunately :(

The rolling start mod sadly still doen't work for me. They just start racing on the "formation lap" (LUA Debug doesn't show any error, I use CSP 0.2.3)

Just to follow up on this, I have now tested this issue completely offline, without any online joining. The Pit App always changes the surfaces.ini after closing and restarting the game in Single Player (and multiplayer, as previously posted). This happens every time, even if I don't click the "Enable" button on the app in the pit menu. So it's activating regardless of if I click the button to "Activate" it or not.

After further investigations, I can tell that for the same race configuration, sometimes all the grid starts normaly, and sometimes all the grids get stuck! This is with the last CM, and last CSP. And this is for pit and/or mechanical failure and/or blue flag app. Can you help Nuzzi?

After few test it seems depend of track if kunos or not so I use Kunos for debug because all mods tracks doesn't the same setup base

makes sense. That said I use exclusively moded tracks, and for the same track, for exemple Sebring 1966, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I tried some Kunos tracks a couple of time and the grid starts normaly. So this app seems really optimised for Kunos tracks. I really wonder what makes some moded tracks not working...

I tried 2 modded tracks - spa 22 and Le Mans - on both tracks I found if I go straight to race it works fine. If I do weekend it seems like only cars that out in a valid lap in practice and have no incidents are getting off the line when I get to the race session.

I think I found the problem. I unchecked"new AI behavour" in CSP and edited a line in the corresponding ini file to make sure it's disable. The result is good, AI seem to start normaly. I have good hope my problem is resolved.

Heyya, ever since I got onto AI Pit Stop Strategy 2.8, I've been experiencing issues where sometimes the AI gets stuck in the pits and change to a tire compound they should not be changing to. They are kinda glued to the pit stop, and are re-pitstopped again. Could you look into this? I'm on CSP 0.2.4-preview1. Thanks!

Just to add - I experienced this on circuits like monaco1988, imola1988, vrc_alabama, m08_autopolis. The pit stops were within 5 to 10 seconds.

Also to add - on montreal1982, the car gets teleported back to the pits after crossing the finishing line while in the pitlane, making them change to an all new tire and also teleports them 1 lap ahead. I'll keep testing.

I figured something out - sorry for looking into your code. In ManageAIPitRequests(), the second if clause for cars that have missed their pitstop was causing them to request a second pit stop immediately when they cross the finish line and leave the pitlane, due to +1 to pitLaps[a]. I added a condition to both ifs: aiDrivers[i].pitStopNum == a to ensure that the number of completed pit stops (initialized as 1 but is actually 0) matches the 'a' value. This introduces a check where if they have not completed the expected number of pit stops when they are on their pitlap (or pitlap + 1), then they should pit. This prevents them from teleporting to pit a second time when they cross the finish line and exit the pits. I'll try this further with more testing / multiple stops. Cheers.

Hi Nuzzi, if you configure the starting grid with F1 cars from different mods, not everyone will fit the same tires. For example, if everyone has to start on M tyres, the RTT Formula 2024 cars will use M tires while the RSS Formula Hybrid cars will use C4 (the Soft tyre). This happens because RSS cars have multiple types of tires and do not match the tires of other mods. The RARE mod managed this difference for example. Hi all. I just installed the Rolling Start app on CSP 0.2.5 P1 and get a white flag on start and it does not go away, the lap counter in the centre does not count down either. Anyone having this issue or may know why? Is it CSP or Nuzzi app causing this? On CSP 0.2.4 P1 all works just fine. Obviously, I am back on 0.2.4 P1 for now but rather run 0.2.5 P1. Please help. Thanks.

Hey Nuzzi ! All apps work great on the latest csp 0.2.5 preview, only one question, when using the Clear Stopped Cars app, whenever a Car stops , it shows me the yellow flag for the reminder of the race.. even though the vehicle has been cleared from the track... any way to solve this? does the CSP setting :"teleport to pits" interfere with your app ?

Hi, most of the time the Clear Stopped AI app works well together with the CSP setting teleport to pits. However, on some versions and setups it can conflict. So I recommend unticking everything in that AI Retirement sections settings if you have the Clear Stopped AI app! Thanks :)
