App Update: Mechanical Failures App 1.2 (Patreon)

v1.2 brings the following update:

  • All engine failures now trigger a yellow flag. I strongly recommend using this app with my AI Yellow flag app to manage the duration of the flag and the AI behaviour for its duration.

Hello Thank you very much for all these apps. I just have a small problem. I have done several races (5 or 6 of 15 laps) and each time the engine failure is for me... am I really unlucky or is it a known problem? Sorry for my terrible English.

Hi yeah, you must be very unlucky 😅. If you would like to check which cars will have failures, you can use the Lua Debug App. (Then do a session restart and it will choose new cars/drivers if needed.) Thanks

Is there anyway to toggle off the yellow flag element? If not can it be added to the app?

If you don't wish yellow flags to be triggered, then you can open the Nuzzis_Mechanical_Failure_App.lua file and delete line 151.
