ep 2 just gets even better

Claire

All of Ateez's concerts are amazing because they are such insane live performers! You can find a lot of their full concerts on youtube and I would honestly recommend watching all of them or at least I would love to watch you react to all of them! Their most recent concert at the beginning of this month in Japan for their new tour towards the light: will to power was livestreamed and I can send you a link I found for it if needed (but sadly it doesn't have any english subs). This new concert is on another level too!

Claire

If you don't mind there being no english subs then I would definitely recommend checking out their most recent concert in Japan. Otherwise I would recommend either the fellowship: break the wall or the fellowship: beginning of the end from 2022 (both of which the full concert with english subs can be found on youtube on the channel sanie)

The ring live.... Ateez collect souls!!

You need to watch the behind/production of MATZ eventually. You'll get to see Hongjoong (the master) at work.

Oh, jeez. Me again. Check out their break the wall tour and their most recent towards the light.

Ateez are a once in a life time group of incredibly otherworldly talented artists! Their concerts are life changing please go to one! They are def touring sometime this year. Also they're fucking playing at COACHELLA!! They're the first ever kpop boy group to be performing there! I'm so freaking proud of them! You NEED to check out their recent concert Towards The Light in Seoul....they went all out. It was like a musical rather than a concert. Every stage was art and told a story and they acted out their characters from their lore. Also it should have been 21+ 🫢. New World is my fav on this album, then The Ring. Seeing The Ring live last concert end if 2022 was an outer body experience.

Ateez has a storyline that runs through their mvs and usually a lot of the lyrics reflect that, especially in the World Series. They leave alot of hints in the mvs and lyrics. In particular the World Series was based on the movie equilibrium and 1984. In the trailer they referenced it the speech where it said the disease is human emotion. I’m pretty sure guerilla is set in strictland (a place in Ateez lore) where everyone’s kinda indoctrinated and music/dancing basically any form of expression is illegal. I’m sure someone can explain better than me bc it’s very confusing. But anyways the World Series (movement, outlaw, will) is probably the most experimental they’ve gone back to back. I mean they’ve always had a couple out their tracks from before that like hala hala which is one of their earlier songs but each era has completely different vibes. I know someone suggested their lastest concert which is amazing but they didn’t perform most of these songs there so I’ll link live performances bc most Ateez songs have been performed at one point. Sector 1: https://youtu.be/9YcFPA8g63o?si=JxGjvIc4NHnubTee Cyberpunk: https://youtu.be/zqpCho3mX-0?si=-MHXrRl5OBGPCQ_4 The ring: https://youtu.be/k_H6eGDFcnc?si=L_UFgOzCcep9aQiP New world: https://youtu.be/LpVB3dYTfxQ?si=CUfQIksC69HlU0ll Guerilla: https://youtu.be/Adsek0iyo_M?si=nBLRBfFi1Rlxpwcx Fun fact also Hongjoong actually did a linkin park cover it has a video and everything And as for how does jongho do those live well… you gotta watch and find out he’s genuinely amazing.

ATEEZ are great for inspiration! They like to play around with instrumentals and beats and raps and vocal styles so there's everything from seductive, to aggressive, to daydreamy, to just vibing and having fun. Fun fact! Ateez often teases their next track at the end of all their MVs, but Sector 1 was first hinted at the end of Answer, which was released 2 years earlier. All of the members are insanely talented, but Jongho is otherworldly. He's a belter, but his voice is actually quite versatile and he can sing soft, pretty songs very well. And he 100% pulls it off live, watch their Kingdom performance Symphony no. 9 from the Wonderland and he climbs I think 4 octaves and it's insane!! His party trick is singing while breaking apples and he's a master of stability. Their lore is really cool, and although it's huge and confusing and some stuff is only really understood if you buy the album with the diary entries, you still get a pretty good Idea from it when you watch the MVs and songs, so don't worry about not understanding stuff because practically every one of their songs and MVs will reference the lore in a recognizable way, esp the MVs. Basically tho: interdimensional pirates who end up trying to overthrow an oppressive government that has banned all human emotion. (I have too many thoughts lmao). I hadn't listened to The Ring before I bought the membership kit, and when I saw the kit I thought it reminded me of Lors of the Rings, so it was cool to get that reference in The Ring!!
