yesss finally nagisaen concert next please

Annika

Omg I love this concert so much. A lot of fans who were there said the crowd was so much louder than what we hear in this recording. The concert at Tokyo Dome where Taka was crying after is actually the ambitions 2018 tour you reacted to. He cried because he was sick and felt like he didn't sing good enough. You heared Kagerou in the Orchestra concert. Beam Of Light is their second album and Taka hates it so much. It's my least favorite of theirs as well, but I still enjoy it. Fool Cool Rock Documentary with eng subs: https://m.ok.ru/video/1197154110059 The song after Heartache is Gravity. I recommend the "Special Live in Nagisaen 2016" as the next full concert and if you want to start doing full album reactions I would recommend "Jinsei kakete boku wa" by One Ok Rock. The song 'So Far Gone' was actually written by Taka for one of his best friends who took his own life in july 2020... You may remember the moment in the Flip A Coin documentary where Taka said "I can't sing through my tears." That was just a few months after and they performed 'C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h.' (a song Taka wrote for his friends back in 2011) in memory of him.

Thank you for the reaction! It's always so much fun watching ONE OK ROCK videos with you. Really enjoyed this. I hope you can react to Nagisaen next :) Besides their concerts and MVs, you may also enjoy videos that show Taka's personality. In case you are interested, I will put some links to videos with English subtitles. Not sure if these are good for reaction videos, but you can just watch in your free time and enjoy learning more about him, too. 1. Satoh Takeru's youtube video. It's an episode of Taka's friends visiting Taka's home. There are three separate videos in the episode and each is about 20-25 mins, but you can skip the first video since Taka is barely in that one and the 2nd video will give a recap of the previous story. Video2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhI6Kr61HDE&t=431s Video3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNFbWscXPOs 2. KENTA from WANIMA interviews Taka on his radio program. They talk about their relationship, the Field Of Wonder online concert, their visions for the future etc. You saw KENTA in the Flip a Coin documentary. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkmuAvIhw4Y

Oo Pe

I haven't seen "Fool Cool Rock" either, so I'm looking forward to your next reaction!

Jolene Nakamatsu

Oo Pe's translations were really appreciated because I was able to understand Taka's speeches which were so awesome. And of course I always love your reactions because you really get into the concert and I just love your enthusiasm. Their concerts are so exciting and I am so happy that you will be able to see them in November. Can't wait to hear your thoughts about going to Tokyo and the Tokyo Dome Concert.

Actually from a first hand account, seeing them in NYC was one of the most emotional concerts I've ever been to!! If they felt they weren't received well enough then I am so sorry!! I was crying the entire time just having them right in front of me and I saw others crying too! I never would get that close in the domes. Having to go from touring in Tokyo Dome and other domes in Japan and just insane huge crowds to 10xs smaller venues is gonna feel completely different. While smaller venues can be more intimate and I personally prefer them, I cant imagine feeling that change on stage. Performing in Tokyo Dome or Seoul Olympic Stadium is like the epitome for any artist. I loved your reaction and I'm so happy you get to see them in Tokyo Dome!!! Thats like a dream concert experience! I cant wait for your videos on that!

I'm sure that they really enjoyed their own show in New York. Taka spoke on stage about their US tour, where they were the opening act for MUSE. As you see he said it was difficult because there was no rehearsal time and they had to start playing as soon as the doors opened. But they said it was also a valuable experience and that one day they hope to be able to do arena tours in the US like MUSE.

Thank you Oo Pe! At last, I finished the whole vid haha cant do it in 1 seating because of work. The wrist lights are given upon entering to the venue to all concert goers and you have to return it upon leaving the venue. They really don’t have time to rehearse during the Muse tour, they have to play once gate opens. Taka’s messages are always straight to your heart. You can always get something to reflect to and some advices in his speeches, that is why a big thank you to Oo Pe for translating these concerts to us. Gosh, Taka is really the best frontman/life counselor 😂. Love this guy. I will see him next week here in Manila. 🤩

I'm late to the party but thank you again to Oo Pe for the subs, we are eternally grateful that you allowed us to understand what was said! I watched the livestream of this concert and it captured my heart. I think they really channeled the frustration and heartbreaks from COVID and turned it into an unforgettable experience! And I'm with Gan T, 2016 Nagisaen would be an awesome next choice for a concert! It's got an insane crowd 🥰

Haven’t made my way all the way through yet, but to answer your question John, Toru is still with PRS (you can actually find him under the artist section!), but he picked up a couple masterbuilt strats during the last tour and wanted to play them asap… And yes, thanks to Oo Pe!!

Rochelle Schiffman

That was an AMAZING show! To see them and the crowd give their all swept me up and gave me an experience I wouldn’t be able to have otherwise. Thank you for that!

Rochelle Schiffman

I just watched the original MV for Deeper, Deeper and rewatched it on this concert. Taka’s voice has matured so much. I loved the video but his voice has so much more depth now. Love him and the band so much!

Emma

Oo Pe, you’re the best 💜 Thank you SO much for these subtitles, I’m so happy to get to experience this concert with translations

andy.tofu

Enjoyed spending the evening with you reacting to this! There is nothing like seeing them in-person though. Enjoy the show in November! We are happy that you can finally experience them. :)

Rochelle Schiffman

I gotta confess, when I’m in my office doing my graphic design work, I put on one of these concerts and rock out while working! Thank you for putting them up! Love your reactions!

Hey yo, Answering one of the questions you had, when they first did Tokyo dome taka was sick and played through it and felt he disappointed the crowed and cried after wards because he wants to give his fans everything and he felt he couldn't
