oh great, I love your reactions to them 😄 I recomend the next concerts after that should probably be concert at Yokohama 2014 or Nagisaen 2016, or perhaps the new Luxury Desease dvd 😄

Not sure how much extra time it might take so only a possible suggestion. Perhaps occasionally do the concerts live on twitch and then take your favourite songs from the concert put it on YouTube. As you would have interaction during the song should be okay. I wouldn’t suggest posting the entire thing other than on patreon. Or perhaps a highlight reel from the patreon only concert with a few moments to hopefully bring more to your patreon. Not sure how much extra work. I just feel that you are always so genuine others should appreciate it. 😊

Yeesss!!! So excited to watch your reaction. Like last time I'm just gonna take notes on my phone while watching and post this (probably) long ass comment when I'm at the end 😁 The opening so damn incredible. I already loved Ending Story??, but after hearing THIS VERSION this song became one of my favorite songsof theirs! I was so curious to see your reaction to Taka rapping and his scream. I was speechless the first time i heared it. It's so funny how they started kinda poppy with Change and then THIS 😁 Taka throwing his micstand is just so Taka. I so wish I would've gone to one of the orchestra concerts, but sadly I didn't know them at the time. Taka really was born to be on stage in one way or another. He's a great singer, but like you mentioned he's just so natrual when he talks and he can be serious but also funny. I really respect him as a musician and a person. I feel like I can learn a lot from him. Taka really writes such great lyrics. I really wish I spoke Japanese better than I do at the moment to fully understand it, because from what I do understand and what people have told me, the english translations don't do his lyrics justice. There are so many expressions in Japanese that aren't easy to translate. The chupachups has become such a running joke in the fandom. This year in Osaka they threw a whole bouquet of chupachups on stage 😁 Taka said that he actually doesn't like them that much. After One Way Ticket the fans were just shouting their names. I love Pierce with the orchestra, but there is one live performance from 2012 where Taka is playing piano and his voice is so raw. Breaks my heart everytime. This instrumental is freaking insane. I think it's my favorite of all they've done. Stand Out Fit In and I Was King back to back is really not fair. I get emotional everytime. Mighty Long Fall with an orchestra is just epic on another level. One-man show means that it's just one band performing. Meaning they have no opener or any other performer. One 'man' means one 'band'. Can't wait for your We Are cover. Can you give any details when we'll get to see it? I really understand what you talked about at the end. I saw them twice at the beginning of june here in Germany and I honestly can say that it changed my life. It was a small venue but the energy was just something I never witnessed before. Thank you for the reaction. Can't wait for the next one :).

Wow!! This is one of their fiesr concert that ive watched from them! This Concert is so good and this concert makws me so emtional I hope the next concert that you will react to is the Ambitions Japan Dome Tour 2018!

This concert is underrated in my opinion! If you loved this, you might also enjoy their 2021 day to night acoustic concert. It's not an orchestra, but it's more instrumental and has great twists on classics. Otherwise, like other commenters have mentioned, 2016 Nagisaen has one of their most INSANE crowds, and 2015 Saitama 35xxxv is one of my personal favorites!

Thank you for doing this reaction so early in the morning just for us. I really appreciate it. I love your reactions and hearing them while watching the concert is really great. And I really loved the subs because I have listened to their songs so many times but having the Japanese translated was just wonderful. By the way, 43:43 was when someone gave Taka the chuppa chups. If you can watch Pierce in the Zankyo Reference Tour in Yokohama Arena (2012), Taka sings accompanying himself on the piano. He was sick and his singing was very emotional. Really tugged at the heart strings.

I would love to do this!!! For real sharing a live concert and conversation is so fun :) maybe we’ll try it with something soon!

I don't understand English, so I always feel your reaction videos with just a few words, voice, and facial expressions. And I watch it every time! I don't really understand what they're talking about, but I love One Ok Rock just like I do, and I want to go to their concerts in Japan! It is transmitted to say. I have the orchestra version DVD, but I watched the full concert because I wanted to see your reaction. It was very good. I really respect TAKA's way of life and the way the band should be. I'm also looking forward to One Ok Rock's reaction videos in the future. I'll post what I translated with a translator.

Don’t worry, one ok rock is the real band that real live performance.. back then some people have a doubt about them cuz they sound so good live.. that’s because they only watch one performance from them.. they don’t know that actually they sometime stop mid performance just to make sure fans are okay because of overheat.. and toru sometime stop playing just to wave at fans.. I remember back in 2017 they perform in big arena in Japan where toru fell off stage while playing guitar and what’s funny the song beginning didn’t have guitar sound lol.. only backtrack and drum.. so that’s prove they actually playing live.. but that’s the old story when people first discovered them. But now they are known as professional band and not a single person say they not playing live.. only those who have been to their concert witness the truth. So don’t listen to those who just want to accuse without prove.

Thank you for a great reaction! The instrumental song with the orchestra is just so amazing, I'm left in awe every time I see it. They really utilized the orchestra to its fullest. It's fun that they took the opportunity to play some older and sometimes rare songs in this concert. Fun fact, "Ketsuraku Automation", i.e. the third song on the set list with the violin intro, was actually the b-side track for The Beginning single. I've always loved that one. Their songs are so good, even the ones that don't even make it to an album. It's so true what you said about how you'll see a concert differently and appreciate it more the more you know the band and the more you've seen of their previous concerts. Waiting to get to go to a concert in person isn't always a bad thing. I've only seen ONE OK ROCK live once, when they played in my country Sweden in 2017, and I had never watched any of their full concerts before that. Since then, I've watched them all, and I'm actually mad at myself for not appreciating it more when I actually got to see them. I got to see some of my current favorite songs live and I barely even knew those songs at the time. So yeah. I respect waiting. Still, I'm glad I got to see them that time, because I don't think they'll ever come back here again.

The best arrangement for me are I was King and Ending Story???. Looking forward for the breakdown of Taka’s screams. 😄 I am also thankful to the person who sent you the video with subs. I have the dvd copy but no subs so I got to rewatch the whole concert with you. Hopefully he/she has other subs for other tours too.

It’s decided! Your weekly OOR concert reactions are my new gym buddy! 😅 I watch your reactions 30 mins at a time while on the elliptical or treadmill, makes the time go amazingly quickly! Just finished the first 30 mins, will keep it going tomorrow
đŸ€˜ I think your favorite album of theirs would probably be 35XXXV

Susan Lilley

Well Damn. I’ve got a new top song of all time
. “Ending Story??”

Jolene Nakamatsu

I forgot to mention in my comment that this was a 53 piece orchestra. One OK rock doesn't do things on a small scale.

Rochelle Schiffman

I have yet to see one of their concerts that I haven’t loved. The fact that you get to see them in November is making me green with envy. Can’t wait to see your vlogs of it!!!

Rochelle Schiffman

Holy canoli, they made that orchestra perform hard! I love it! Absolutely love this concert! John, you are by far my favorite reactor. Your infectious joy makes me smile until my cheeks hurt! Thank you!

DoAa

Thank you for a great reaction! As you said, Taka is very good at writing lyrics. I recommend you to listen to the song with lyrics because he write songs on various topics

Elizabeth Youtsey

When he reached out to the crowd in Kagerou he comes away with the lollipop and kind of looks at it in his left hand. I was surprised you didn't comment :)
