Sadly Mr. Sakamoto passed away in March. I'm so happy Yoongi had the chance to meet and spend time with him. That part of the documentary really brought tears to my eyes. 😥💜

You can tell you love music. I was so excited to watch your reaction to this. I love watching you react to music and talk about music. You can definitely see your passion. Thank you John.

This is for sure my fave documentary from a musician perspective, you really see an artist at work in all aspects including just 30 seconds of him cursing in Korean and punching his couch 🫠 I knew you would love this too and I cannot wait for you to see him live- LIFE. CHANGING. EXPERIENCE.

I love that this motivated you! He makes me want to be creative too. Just create and make things (or write them). Live in the present. It’s a superb documentary and it shows this wasnt a quick or easy process but one he reworked for years. I can’t wait to see him live!

2023-05-12 08:07:40 well, whatever happened, the whole thing froze at 1 hr 21 minutes. such a notable documentary! like award worthy. wish all the US music industry players were not so xenophobic. really puts us in a bad light. but, thank you, john for posting this; I'm grateful for the fact that i got to see most of the documentary video. I'm seeing a new Suga, & have tons of respect for him; OT7! borahae!

it was so sweet he was so nervous playing his mentors song. and suga actually recorded himself playing this song in his hotel room in his own version it´s still on twitter. he recorded it right before meeting him

Halsey posted pictures of Yoongi holding her baby last year i think it was around Christmas. but it was a pretty unclear picture so it was hard to see the hair. Suga gave her baby a necklace, witch is a tradition in korea to wish the baby a bright future or something like that. Halsey lost many babyes before this one because of her condition that i don´t know much about. But BTS does so it was special for Suga to meet her and see her son. you can still find he pictures there are 3 but only the one with suga cuddling the baby and smiling is the most clear https://twitter.com/btsglobally/status/1501217607583780864

same it gets me every time, the tears just flow. I am also so pleased Yoongi got to meet him- you can tell how special it was for him. I just loved how much emotion there was in his expression when he is playing the piano for him.

I love how all of BTS solo projects have been so different - they are so cohesive as a group - I LOVE that we've got to see them doing such different things on their own. Not just the music style, but everything from the promotions to the documentaries etc, and I feel like they have really reflected each members personalities. This documentary for example (AMAZING) is a musicians documentary- like you said John you got to see the writing process, but also he goes to studios we see him making the songs, but also he gives us special performances of him singing them and playing piano, guitar, recording. Hobi's documentary was more focused on his performance at lolla and his dance rehearsals etc bc he is all about dance - that's his first love. I am so glad you enjoyed this John loved watching it with you as we continue our BTS journey together, Borahae!
